Hi! (Yes, I am camera shy….)
I am a Psychologist, registered in Alberta, with 17 years of experience in Special Education and Public Health as both a teacher and Clinical Psychologist. My focus is on Adult individual therapy to increase quality of life, using Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural based therapies such as CBT, ACT and DBT informed, as well as to Accelerated Resolution Therapy.
There is more than one way up your mountain path and therapy is tailored to your unique need.
Service fees are based on the most recent Psychologists Association of Alberta fee schedule and are tax deductible. Currently, this is $230.00 per therapy hour and based on a 50 minute therapy session. Some therapies require longer session lengths, such as Accelerated Resolution sessions that can take up to 90 minutes, however will still be considered a standard therapy hour.
Please enquire about Adult Capacity assessment fees as this is a different type of service.
All fees, not covered by your insurance, are due by the end of each session by email transfer or credit card. A receipt will be provided following payment. All services provided are income tax deductible.
Please note that 24 hours notice is required for session cancellations, or the full session fee will be charged.
If your insurance provider requires that you submit directly for re-imbursement, receipts you are provided will contain all the information required for submission.
Direct billing is available for some insurance providers. Please contact directly for more information.
Please be aware that it is the responsibility of the policy holder to inquire and understand what their individual policy will cover and/or limits to coverage prior to attending sessions. Any portion of treatment that is not covered by health benefits is at the cost of the individual receiving the service. Any costs not covered by your insurance is tax deductible.
